Covert and Overt Marking of Boats and equipment

CrimestoppersBVI supports the recent Marine Industry initiative within the BVI to mark valuable equipment and accessories on boats io reduce marine based crime. This is combined with marking of Dinghies and outboard motors, together all items particularly the dinghies and outboards are identifiable. The Police Marine Unit of the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force have received the requisite training and equipment to ensure this is a credible programme. The initiative is further supported by the BVI Tourist Board, The Marine Association and the Charter Yatch Society. The initiative has created a great deal of interest within the Industry and will continue to flourish. Full details to follow, information can be obtained through the BVICCHA and the Crime Prevention Unit of the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force.
