Bank Robbery
Police are now investigating an armed robbery that took place on Monday morning at First Bank, Nibbs Street in Road Town where three masked men staged a daring attack on the bank.
Around 10:45 am today , Monday 26th July, three masked men armed with firearms, entered the bank and demanded monies.
The amount of monies taken from the bank has not been ascertained.
The men escaped in a rental jeep, all of whom were dressed in coloured clothing and one was 6 feet tall and the other two were about 5 ft 5 inches tall.
The men escaped in a grey Suzuki RT 1540.
We are appealing for information from people who may have seen this vehicle earlier in the morning and for any information to help identify the offenders and the location of the cash stolen.
